Taste of State Package
Enjoy the flavor of Michigan State University when you select the “Taste of State” package. The MSU Dairy Foods Complex offers an integrated food experience. Not only can you visit our famous Dairy Store for some of the best ice cream and cheese, but you can take a self guided tour of the Dairy Plant observation deck and learn the basics of milk, cheese and ice cream processing. The self-guided tour includes a multimedia presentation for all ages. Guided tours and advanced ice cream orders can be arranged. Visitors can also observe the dairy cow milking procedures every afternoon at MSU’s Dairy Farms. Additional self-guided tours are offered at the sheep, horse and swine farms. In addition to the MSU Dairy Foods Complex and farms, your students will enjoy lunch and a tour of one of our Residence Halls to experience life on a Big Ten campus!
